Being a pretty good mechanic, over 40 years on farm equipment, now 82 years old, he did his trouble shooting and determined the valve was the issue. He went to his brothers dealership and bought this valve for the wholesale price which is the listing price here.
He installed the valve and the problem was not corrected. He removed the valve and tried to return it, but, since it was a special order, he was told he could not return it. He later discovered the problem with the hydraulic system. He had accidentally kicked the hydraulic unloading valve under the seat into the unload position.
